Young Starters Drum Book

This book has been created specifically to help young drummers get to grips with reading music, mastering basic rhythms and moving around the drum kit with ease. With 32 pages of material and 25 pieces of progressive difficulty, it’s the perfect resource for young drummers to develop their proficiency at the instrument.

Peter is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has performed with some of the nation’s leading ensembles and musicians. Alongside his performing career, he is a dedicated educator of students of all ages and abilities. It was while teaching in 2023 that he noticed a distinct lack of material for younger pupils whose coordination takes longer to develop. The idea for a book was born and in the summer of the following year, the Young Starters Drum Book was created.
